1.What is the exact composition of your WPC Foam Board?
Our WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) foam boards are manufactured using a blend of PVC resin, wood powder (natural fibers), and specialized additives (stabilizers, foaming agents). This combination provides the rigidity of wood with the durability of plastic.
2.How does WPC foam board differ from standard PVC foam board?
WPC boards contain wood fiber, making them stiffer, more impact-resistant, and better at screw-holding. While PVC is lighter, WPC is preferred for high-end furniture and construction due to its structural strength.
3.What are the available density ranges?
We offer densities ranging from 0.40g/cm³ to 0.90g/cm³. For kitchen cabinets, 0.55-0.60 density is standard; for heavy-duty construction, we recommend 0.70 and above.
4.Is WPC foam board 100% waterproof?
Yes. Unlike plywood or MDF, WPC has a closed-cell structure. It does not swell, warp, or delaminate when submerged in water, making it the "Gold Standard" for bathroom and marine applications.
5.What is the fire rating of your WPC sheets?
Our boards are classified as Class B1 (Flame Retardant). They are self-extinguishing and do not support combustion once the external fire source is removed.
6.Can your WPC boards be used for outdoor landscaping?
Yes, but we recommend our UV-stabilized version for permanent outdoor use. This prevents yellowing and maintains structural integrity under direct sunlight.
7.Is the material eco-friendly and safe for indoor use?
Absolutely. Our WPC boards are 100% Formaldehyde-free, Lead-free, and contain no VOCs. We provide SGS/RoHS certifications to verify safety for residential furniture.
8.What is the screw-holding capacity compared to Plywood?
Due to the wood fiber reinforcement, WPC has a significantly higher screw-holding power than standard PVC. It can be screwed and unscrewed multiple times in the same spot without stripping.
9.What surface treatments do you offer?
We provide: 1. Smooth Celuka finish (matte/gloss); 2. Embossed wood grain; 3. Laminated surfaces (PVC film, HPL, or Acrylic) for decorative furniture.
10.Can I paint or glue WPC foam boards?
Yes. The surface is ideal for CNC routing and can be painted with PVC-compatible paints. It also bonds well with standard solvent-based adhesives.
11.What is the standard size and can you customize it?
Our standard size is 1220mm x 2440mm (4x8 ft). Length can be customized (e.g., 2800mm or 3050mm) depending on container loading limits.
12.Is WPC resistant to termites and pests?
Yes. Because it contains no organic "food" for insects (the wood fiber is encapsulated in plastic), it is 100% termite-proof and rot-proof.
13.What is the typical lifespan of WPC furniture?
In indoor environments, WPC furniture can last 20+ years. It does not age or decay like traditional timber products.
14.What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
For standard white boards (1220x2440mm), the MOQ is 100-300 sheets. For custom colors or specific densities, we generally require a 20GP container.
15.How do you ensure quality control (QC) before shipment?
Every batch is tested for density, thickness accuracy (tolerance +/- 0.2mm), Shore hardness, and surface flatness. We welcome third-party inspections (SGS/Intertek).
16.Can you provide free samples?
Yes, we provide free A4-sized samples for quality evaluation. Customers usually only need to cover the international courier/express cost.
