1.What is a PVC Free Foam Board?
It is a lightweight, rigid plastic sheet made from Polyvinyl Chloride using a free-foaming process. It features a consistent, fine-cell structure and a matte finish, making it the industry standard for printing and signage.
2.What are the standard sizes and thicknesses available?
The standard size is 1220 x 2440mm. We also offer 1560 x 3050mm and 2050 x 3050mm. Thicknesses range from 1mm to 5mm.
3.How do I choose the right density for my project?
Density typically ranges from 0.35g/cm³ to 0.9g/cm³. For advertising and printing, 0.40-0.50 is standard. For cabinetry or construction, we recommend high-density boards 0.55-0.70 for better screw-holding power.
4.Is your PVC board Lead-Free?
Yes, our boards are 100% Lead-Free and environmentally friendly. They comply with RoHS and REACH standards, making them safe for international indoor use.
5.What is the difference between Free Foam and Celuka boards?
Free Foam has a uniform matte surface and is softer, ideal for printing and folding. Celuka has a hard, glossy outer skin, making it more scratch-resistant and suitable for heavy-duty furniture.
6.Does the board have a fire rating?
Our PVC foam boards are self-extinguishing and typically achieve a UL94 V-0 or Class B1 fire rating, providing excellent safety for public installations.
7.Can these boards be used for outdoor signage?
Yes, but we recommend adding UV stabilizers during production for long-term outdoor use to prevent yellowing or brittleness.
8.Is the surface suitable for UV digital printing?
Absolutely. The smooth, flat, matte surface is specially treated to ensure superior ink adhesion for both UV flatbed printing and silk-screen printing.
9.How can I cut or shape the boards?
You can use standard woodworking tools: CNC routers, saws, or even a utility knife for thinner sheets. It can also be heat-bent, die-cut, and glued.
10.Is the material waterproof and termite-proof?
Yes. It is 100% moisture-proof and resistant to rot, mold, and termites, making it a superior alternative to wood or MDF in humid environments.
11.Do you provide protective film?
Yes, we can apply a PE protective film on one or both sides to prevent scratches during handling and transportation.
12.Can you produce custom colors?
While white is the standard, we produce black, grey, and various vibrant colors. For custom colors, please provide a Pantone or RAL code.
13.What is your Minimum Order Quantity?
Our standard MOQ is 100-200 sheets per thickness. For trial orders or stocked items, we can be more flexible.
14.Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we provide free A4-sized samples. You only need to cover the courier cost, which is refundable upon your first mass order.
15.Do you offer OEM or Private Labeling?
Yes. We can print your brand logo on the protective film or the edge of the board to help build your local brand presence.
